1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or booking a tour with Hinomaru One (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Our Services

Hinomaru One provides private guided tour experiences in Japan. Our services include:

• Private guided tours in Tokyo and surrounding areas
• Pre-tour consultation to customise your itinerary
• Tour day guidance by a professional English-speaking guide
• Booking management and customer support via email and WhatsApp

All tours are subject to availability. We reserve the right to modify tour offerings, pricing, or availability at any time without prior notice.

3. Booking and Payment

A booking is confirmed once full payment has been received and you receive a confirmation email from us. By completing a booking, you confirm that:

• All information provided is accurate and complete
• You are at least 18 years of age, or booking on behalf of a group with appropriate authority
• You accept these Terms of Use on behalf of all guests in your party

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your card details. Prices are listed in USD and include guide fees. Entrance fees to attractions, transportation, and meals are not included unless stated otherwise.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

• More than 24 hours before the tour — Full refund
• Within 24 hours of the tour — No refund
• No-show on tour day — No refund

If we need to cancel due to circumstances beyond our control (severe weather, guide illness, or force majeure), you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

5. Guest Responsibilities

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, guests agree to:

• Arrive at the agreed meeting point on time
• Follow the guide's instructions regarding safety and local etiquette
• Behave respectfully toward guides, local residents, and cultural sites
• Disclose any relevant health conditions, mobility limitations, or dietary requirements prior to the tour
• Ensure all members of their party are covered by adequate travel insurance

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a tour without refund if a guest's behaviour poses a risk to themselves, the guide, or others.

6. Limitation of Liability

Participation in our tours involves physical activity in public spaces. While we take reasonable precautions to ensure guest safety, Hinomaru One is not liable for:

• Personal injury, illness, or loss of personal belongings during a tour
• Disruptions caused by weather, transportation delays, or circumstances beyond our control
• Actions or omissions of third-party venues, restaurants, or transport providers

Our total liability to you in connection with any tour shall not exceed the amount paid for that booking.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, itineraries, and branding — is the property of Hinomaru One and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

You are welcome to share links to our pages and use our content for personal, non-commercial reference.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.
